You Are Everything

I so cannot get this song out of my head!

You Are Everything by Matthew West

It's even inspired me to go piano shopping so I can start playing at home again!

Jeff is complaining because I keep playing it over and over and over and over and over and it's unabated and there are repeat performances and it keeps playing again and again and again... LOL

I checked it out and like the song--I'm going to have to listen to some more cause I like his sound. I'd never heard of him before...

Somebody gave us an old old piano for free. Right now it's just a place to put some decorations in my dining room (the only place it would fit in our tiny house) b/c it is in serious need of a tuning. It's not a high priority on my list of things that cost a lot of money and 'need' to be done so it will probably wait until noah is ready to sit down and start learning the basics from me. I've been wanting to get back into it myself though--as much as I hated practicing as a kid I really liked playing.

I didn't really get into his music until this song came out. He gets played a lot on the two Christian radio stations we get here (AirOne and WayFM). I like a couple of his previous songs, but they weren't all stuck in my head like this seems to be. His myspace page (see link on my sidebar) has a few of his older songs.

After the hassle of trying to move the acoustic piano out of my mom's house, I've decided that a digital piano is the way to go for us. I have had this yearning to get some music back into my life for a while now, but I've been without a piano since I left college. So, we're shopping around for something. I too hated practicing, but I like fiddling around playing music I love.

my turn... I'm currently doing the same thing with StorySide B's new single... Be Still!!! I love that song!!! Mainstay's Believe is another favorite... I play them over and over and over... :-)

As for the piano thing... I go thru those phases too... then I am quickly reminded that my brain and left hand don't get along that well and I give up!! I'll just stick with singing harmony and let my sis and mom do the playing!! LOL!

Ooh, yeah - I like that Mainstay song a lot. I had no idea what the band was named, but I've been singing along to it on the radio lately. :)

I don't know if I've ever heard Be Still before, but I like it, too!
